Your skin has a story.
Let's read it together.
Dr. Elena Marsh, MD
I see what mirrors miss — the mole that changed shape in March, the rosacea that follows your stress, the breakout that stopped responding to what used to work. This page is your first consultation.

What actually happens
at your appointment
Most first-time patients arrive with more anxiety than they need. Here's exactly what to expect, step by step.

Before you arrive
Gather any photos you've taken of your concern — even blurry ones from three months ago are useful. Note when you first noticed it and what (if anything) seems to make it better or worse.
- Insurance card + photo ID
- List of current medications
- Photos of concern over time

The examination
You'll describe your concern in your own words — no medical vocabulary required. The exam is thorough but unhurried. A full-body skin check takes about 12 minutes and is performed with a handheld dermatoscope, not uncomfortable.
- You stay fully in control of what's examined
- Cosmetic questions welcome at the same visit
- Nothing will be biopsied without your consent

After your visit
Before you leave, you'll have a clear understanding of what was found and what happens next. If a biopsy is needed, results typically return in 5–7 business days. A follow-up call is standard, not an extra charge.
- Written care instructions emailed within the hour
- Prescription sent directly to your pharmacy
- Patient portal access for all results

The questions patients
don't always think to ask
Most patients are surprised by how quick and undramatic it is. You remain draped at all times — only the area being examined is exposed. The dermatoscope is a handheld device placed gently against the skin. The entire check takes about 12 minutes. You stay in control throughout.
